Shannon's favorite subject is math, but loves creative writing. She enjoys writing and has written three books in a series of books one of which she self-published. If she could be ANY animal, she would be a GIRAFFE because giraffes are tall, colorful, and majestic looking and they can SEE for miles!

In her free time, Shannon enjoys riding my bike, walking/hiking, camping, writing, volunteering, and being with people!

She is most proud of her three grown children. Shannon has one son and two daughters and SEVEN grandchildren!

"I look forward to working with the entire community of Socorro while building everlasting partnerships with students, parents and community members. It is of the utmost importance that we all work together as a team to procure the success of every one of our students."
